finally i'm blogging :)

and because i havent update in a while, this entry's gonna be pretty long and i have a zillion photos which piled up over the past week..

saturday, 14th july:

harry potter with arts camp og..

i'm not exactly a harry potter fanatic but still, the show was disappointing but it was nice meeting up with my og again :)

monday:

oweek precamp which i went for nothing cos in the end, they told us we could only choose between oweek or rag dance :(

so rag dance it is (i think it's turning out pretty good now)..

that night of precamp, my og surprised me with a cake and my bday present :) :)

tuesday:

was kinna zombiefied cos we didnt sleep the whole night..

long chats at west coast park and then we proceed to clarice's house, supposely intended to sleep there..

but we ended up watching youtube and jolin's concert dvd.. haha!

then it was back to school for rag dance practice..

wednesday:

my birthday of course!!~ :) :) :)

lunch with jaslyn at crystal jade la mian and then dinner with the vj girls at pitstop :)

pitstop's the place where you can play boardgames and eat..

and they have cool boardgames which you hav nv seen before over there..

let's go there again! :)

and thank you guys for spending my bday with me!

i had alot of fun that day :)

thursday:

rag dance practice and then dinner with family to celebrate my dad's and my bday..

friday:

smu dance concert and stayover at jing's place which was alot of fun..

jing and chien sprung me a bday surprise! :)

bakerzin's cakes always taste good..

i shall let the photos do the talking and shant say how crazy we got..

monday:

shopping in the afternoon and studiowu with alvin, yvonne and georgina after..

i felt that the class was rather disappointing..

maybe cos the choreo wasnt my style so i felt quite sian to dance.. haha

and i wasnt even tired after class (i'll usually be dead tired)..

ok, my computer has gone bonkers and it's annoying the hell out of me..
using my bro's laptop now which means i can only use it when he's not using..
i cant upload the pictures i took at the airport on monday with lydia just yet..
i cant update Boutons..
and i have an ugly display picture for my msn..

anyway, next week's gonna be crazily busy for me..

monday: oweek precamp
tuesday: oweek precamp + RAG dance practice
wednesday: MY BIRTHDAYYYY!!! :) :)
thursday: RAG dance practice + dad's brithday
friday: lunch with jaslyn + smu's dance concert + sleepover at jing's place

so i will be shuffling round my house and nus quite alot..
please pray that the 151 i take to school is air-conditioned..(i've been lucky so far)
imagine an hour long of no aircon bus ride.. my god!

ahh, and i hope the oweek ocomm will allow raggers to join in oweek as well!

omg, i cant wait to meet my sotongs tmr! :)

i miss miss miss them alot..

tmr's probably gonna be our last dinner with the 6 of us together since lydia's gonna leave for australia on monday..

ahh, i DONT like it that you are leaving my dear :(

anyway, chien and i have been getting really irritated buyers lately..

this girl who initially wanted 9 earrings (yes, it is really too good to be true) and then said it was too expensive (even though we have given her a generous discount) and decided to get 2 instead..

then she got 3 other friends to buy from us so that she could get a free earring PLUS discount..

free earring + discount = not making alot of profit

but anyway, we being super nice people decided to give her both, though reluctantly..

ok, so the point is, in the end, after many many negotiations, she decided not to get anything cos she said she's very unhappy with us and that she's pretty sure she can get better discounts at other shops..

alright then, we dont want to sell our pretty accessories to you anyway since you do not know how to appreciate all the hard work put into each piece!

and then there's another girl who wanted a customisation but decided to stop replying us when it came to payment time..

maybe we should start blacklisted people to scare them..

muahahaha!

since i'm very unhappy now, i decided to watch the video clare took (secretly) of wade robson's dance at overdrive to cheer me up!

back from arts camp!!

it was a blast! :)

though it was super duper tiring cos every night we slept at ard 4am and wake up at 7am!

plus in the day you are screaming and cheering and running around..

but still, i definitely didnt regret going for it cos i met a great bunch of friends!

and we had wonderful ogls who made arts camp even more fun!

everyone is starting to miss each other already!

day1:

i could already hear all the cheering from the busstop and i was introduced to my group by the form of a cheer which i thought was really quite cool!

and then it was ice breakers and more cheering and station games..

just a few minutes into the 1st game and all of us got wet already...

the guys are suppose to soak their shirts in water and the girls are suppose to collect the water that the guys squeezed down from the 2nd floor...

haha..it's rather gross when i come to think of it now.. the water collected was definitely not crystal clear..

and there was another game where we had to make a sandwich by passing down the ingredients without using our hands and then everyone had to have a bite of it..

as regards to the rest of the games, i shant elaborate anymore..

then it was night games at west coast park..

shant really say what we played here cos some were quite disgusting..

but still it was damn fun!:)

day2:

pool games plus project shoot-it where we ran around singapore(mainly the west) to look for clues and take photos..

and we won the best og! :)

following that was mass dance where our ogl sharon was the dance i/c!

sharon you sexy you look like woooo!

night venture after that which got me REALLLYYYY scared!

omg, luckily i had sam and dickson to protect me or else i will just DIE man..

which explains dickson's comment for me on friendster.. haha

day3:
sentosa! and loads of sunblock! hahaha...
all of us got really wet and dirty and sandy but we had a hell of a time!
and i met my secret pal which didnt turn out to be that bad of a game to play...
at least we could talk and there wasnt like awkward silence between us..
just that his ogls kept playing pranks on us!

and since we were both blindfolded, we cant do anything to stop them!

day4:
oscar to olympics! (omg, my muscles are still aching from THAT game!)
then it was war games which we all got wet once again..
dxo at night where everyone really got damn high..

day5:
last day of camp :(
everyone was in the tired yet dont want to go home mood..

all in all, i cant really describe the entire experience in words but everyone in astral was a blessing and astral would be different even if one of you is missing...
go astral! go afro! :)

and on a sad note, i just found out that ishi committed suicide..

i saw the new flash on the tv show i taped while i was at camp..
omg, i was like really really shocked..
to think that i went for his dance classes and performances last time..
