VJ DANCE GOT GOLD WITH HONOURS! :) :) :)
i'm so proud and happy for them!!
but they deserved it..
when i watched their dance, i was actually blown away..
and chien said she felt like crying.. haha..
the juniors are a really really strong batch..
i think all of them can double pirouette like it's nothing..
and... they had very very very nice costumes!
we were damn jealous lar
it was this like indian movie inspired dance (zaki made them watch the movie to get the emotions of the dance and the movie didnt have english subtitles haha)
so they had nice sari patterns on this midrif top, nice flowly long skirt, pretty earrings and a headdress!
if you guys can rmbr the ugly grey shirt and grey pants we wore for our syf 2yrs ago, it's quite understandable why we were damn jealous..
plus ALOT of teachers came to support them..
and i was told it was because they were very surprised at how good the dance was when my juniors performed it during musicfest..
compared to our syf, no one came to support us at all lar!
boo... but oh well, i must admit their dance is far better than ours
ahh.. i want to be in their syf!!

clare was trying to record a video of their dance
but that irritating usher stopped her..
so now, we have to wait for someone to upload the dance to youtube (hopefully)
it was nice meeting up with the dancers :)
and i was happy that many of us came to support them
some of them took like extended lunch breaks of 2 hours haha..

anyway, when i got home, i got inspired to dance
and this was what happened to my feet..haha!

out with jaslyn yday!
we finally met up after sooo long! :)
it was nice catching up with her...
we should go out sometime soon again!

interview for mass comm yday was alright :)

just that i think i failed badly for the current affairs quiz

haha but i was quite glad when i asked ard, no one else knew the right answers to the questions

hopefully i get in!

last friday was out with chien in the afternoon for accessories shopping again!

i swear chinatown has become our favourite haunt right now haha..

oh, and we discovered really really cool shops selling vintage stuff over there..

after that it was off to meet lydia for dinner and to pass her the stuff she ordered

the juniors are having their syf tmr
how i wished i could be in it haha..

anyway, we are going to watch them compete!

i heard this yr's piece is really really good!

i love love love japan! :)

i wished i didnt have to come back..boo..

i cant really put it into words how much i love japan!

elise, i shall be your oh-we-adore-jappy-too-much buddy!

everything there's really really too nice..

from the food, the people, the cleanliest of the streets, the scenery, the shopping and even the toilets! (they had like heated toilet seats and water sprays)

I was very amazed at how they wrap up every item you purchase..

and i really meant EVERY SINGLE item..

so imagine that and an average of 5mins waiting time at the cashier counter..

yes, japanese are definitely not the most environmentally friendly people..

i was also very amused at how EVERYONE(males+females) carried an umbrella when it rained even if it's a slight drizzle..

and u hardly see anyone carrying those kind of foldable brollys, all of them are armed with those big walking stick kind...

though i must say they have very nice umbrellas..

you hardly see any rubbish bins

but yet you dont see even a piece of tissue paper on the streets

that's how clean the streets are

and apparently the tour guide told us they throw their rubbish in their handbags

anyway, i managed to see the cherry blossoms!

very beautiful indeed

and they were in full bloom!

i couldnt help but take like a million photographs of the flowers:)

and mt fuji was great too!

quite rare to see snow during spring

plus the weather was really good

not a single cloud covered the mountain
definitely a very rare sight!

the tour guide was excellent

she told us alot on the japanese culture which made me love japan even more!

plus shopping is really good in japan

but that's if you have like unlimited supply of cash..

and i swear the icecream there is superb

i ate green tea icecream almost everyday!

on another note,
ntu called me up for an interview for mass comm
very shocked that i was even short-listed for it..
my interview was suppose to be last saturday when i was in japan
so it got postponed to monday
wish me luck!
hopefully it wouldnt be as bad as smu's..

this sums up what happened last week:
1) smu interview, which was everything but pleasant
2) dinner treat at brussel sprouts and chocolate factory:)

3) out with chien and boon tat
4) went to watch jinglin sing at her church's easter concert (the food was really good!)

off to japan in a few hours time!
yay!! :) i cant wait!
will be back in 7days time.. dont miss me!
i hope i still get to see the cherry blossoms!

pardon me but i'm gonna blog abt my outings on 23rd march (i actually had to refer to the calender for this date.. haha)
so anyway, it was a friday..
met chuah for lunch after his scholarship interview for EDB
we ate at billy bombers..
the portions were too big and chuah had to help me finish some of mine..
i must say he has quite a big appetite for a small guy..
it was great catching up with him since the army has been stealing away all my guys friends..
sometimes i wished he could be a girl..
then probably we can go shopping and do all the girly stuff together.. haha
though he loves to gossip
i forgot to take a photo with him.. boo..

after that it was off to vivo to meet my sotongs! :)
i love meeting up with them!
maybe cos they are my few friends that actually like to take photos
and we do like crazy stuff together..
ok, i shall let the photos do the talking!
